Alla scoperta dell'Angelo Azzurro, storia del cocktail che dominò le discoteche
🍸 Giovanni Pepè, known as "Mammina," created the Angelo Azzurro cocktail in 1980 for a gay nightclub in Rome. The drink became popular in Italy during the 1980s and 1990s due to its high alcohol content and vibrant blue color. Ingredients include 60 ml gin, 40 ml triple sec (Cointreau), and 10 ml blue curaçao. It was initially served in a martini glass, later becoming a long drink with tonic. The cocktail faded in popularity as mixology evolved.
