📊 DalterFood Group, a leader in the dairy and cheese sector, released its third Sustainability Report in 2023. Despite economic and environmental challenges, such as the Ukraine war and climate change, the company achieved an 8% increase in turnover and a 87% increase in training hours. In 2023, DalterFood Group's turnover reached €159 million, marking an 8% growth from €146 million in 2022, with 85% generated abroad. The company operates in 29 countries, employs 181 people (a 5% increase from 2022), and serves over 1,550 clients. They secured a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis for sustainability with a 52% score, reaching the 55th percentile of companies in the network. They aim to reduce environmental impact, evidenced by stable electricity consumption at 0.67 kWh/kg, reduced natural gas from 0.12 to 0.11 m³/kg, and diesel from 0.005 to 0.004 l/kg. DalterFood Group continues to focus on sustainable practices, including animal welfare, where 100% of farms are certified for animal welfare, and investing in the local community and mountain dairies.

I primi 50 anni di Gemma di Mare

🍭 Compagnia Italiana Sali has distributed "Gemma di Mare" sea salt in Italy since 1974, a product known for preserving its organoleptic qualities through natural production via sun, sea, and wind. The brand has been a market reference in Italy's food salt sector, innovating and diversifying its range to cater to various consumer tastes and qualities. Andrea Pedrazzini is the brand's Marketing and Communication Manager. The company was the first in Italy to produce iodized sea salt for retail, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Recently, Gemma di Mare was included in the register of historical national interest trademarks by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, a testament to products with over fifty years of market presence, excellence, and historical link to the territory. Their product lines now include classic and iodized salts, whole salts from Sicily and Sardinia, Gourmet salts, and Bicarbonate. The production facility is in Porto Viro, Rovigo, upholding HACCP standards and IFS Food certification, with an entirely Italian supply chain.

🍷 Italy's Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests (Masaf) has allocated over €323 million for the OCM Vino (Common Organization of the Wine Market) 2025/2026. The funds will support vineyard restructuring (€144 million), international promotion (€98 million), business investments (€57.6 million), byproduct distillation (€19.2 million), and green harvesting (€4.8 million). Sicily receives the largest share with €51.2 million, followed by Veneto (€40.7 million) and Puglia (€29.4 million). Nick Maltese Studio cura il restyling del Royal Garden Hotel di Assago

🏨 TRGH-The Royal Garden Hotel, situated just outside Milan, is undergoing a significant restyling set for completion in 2026, the year of the Milan-Cortina Olympics. The hotel, designed to cater to business travelers, boasts 150 rooms, a congress center with six meeting rooms, the Blue Crab Restaurant, The Captain’s Bar, a gym, and an urban pool. The restyling effort, led by Nick Maltese Studio, focuses on ecosustainability, including the installation of a photovoltaic park. The congress center seats approximately 650 people, featuring a large meeting room with 340 seats and a 6x3 meter LED wall. The design by Maltese and Pagetti emphasizes geometric patterns, using materials like metal, stone, terracotta, and includes romantic wallpapers from Texturae and lighting from DWC èditions.
