The durable previous carpets, installed at the hotel's opening, highlighted Kasthall's excellence since 1889, combining natural materials and contemporary design. Discarded carpets were given to staff upon request, with proceeds donated to charity. The hotel, led by Cristina Vascellari and affiliated with The Leading Hotels of the World, reinforces its luxury segment presence.

Fiasconaro e il dialogo gastronomico tra Sicilia e Francia al Sirha

Fiasconaro's panettone symbolizes Made in Sicily quality. In 2023, Fiasconaro was recognized for its pioneering role in luxury pastry and was featured in the French publication "Les 101 mots de la Pâtisserie" by Anne and Caroline Debbasch.

Crescono le esportazioni di alimenti e bevande irlandesi nel mondo

📈 Irish food and beverage exports hit a record €17 billion in 2024, up 5% from the previous year. Meat sector exports grew by 6% to €4.3 billion, seafood reached €595 million (+9%), dairy remained stable at €6.3 billion, and beverage exports jumped 19% to €2.1 billion. Whiskey exports alone increased by 13%. Italian market valued at over €465 million, with beef (84% of meat exports) at €233 million. EU accounts for 35% of Irish exports, with notable growth in UK (+7%) and North America (+14%). Exports to Asia fell, with pork to China under €100 million and dairy down 12%. Africa rose by 10%, reaching €950 million.

The US is the top market for Italian spirits, with a 13% share and a value of nearly €190 million from January-October 2023, up 7.4% from the previous year.
