La linea analcolica Botanic e le birre Open Hub: le novità di Baladin a Beer&Food Attraction 2025

🍺 Baladin introduced Botanic, its first non-alcoholic beer, in early 2023, which led Teo Musso to expand it into a line of three distinct non-alcoholic craft beers by 2025. They were showcased at Beer&Food Attraction 2025, Pavilion A7 – Stand 80. These beers are made using classic fermentation with Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strains and without de-alcoholization processes, boasting 100% Italian ingredients and a low calorie count of 66 Kcal per 33 cl bottle. The Botanic line features Blonde, Blanche, and IPA varieties, each with unique flavors enhanced by botanicals like Passiflora extract and a motto: “just relax and enjoy”. Technical data include PLATO = 6, IBU ranging from 20 to 38, EBC spanning from 8 to 24, alcohol-free, and a serving temperature of 6/8°C. Additionally, the Open Hub project, a strategic development part of Baladin’s equity crowdfunding Beer Revolution, was presented as a shared brewery initiative offering quality craft beers exclusively in kegs, supporting marketing and sales, involving top Italian craft breweries like Altavia, Fabbrica Birra Perugia, Opperbacco, MC77, Ritual Lab, and Baladin's own styles like Blond Ale and Strong Amber Ale. Distribution of these beers from Open Hub in Bernareggio will start in April

Electa: il nuovo brand premium di Ferrarelle debutta all'International Horeca Meeting

🍺 At the 14th International Horeca Meeting held until February 18, 2025, at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini, Ferrarelle Società Benefit, the fourth largest mineral water company in Italy, introduced Electa, a new premium smooth water brand. Electa, an oligomineral water with a soft, light, and refined taste, will be available in 0.75L glass and premium PET starting April 2025. The brand's visual identity features a distinctive graphic treatment with a unique pantone color for its label and collar, and a silver seal for elegance. Electa's name harkens back to the early 20th century, deriving from Eletta, one of the sources in the Parco delle Sorgenti, and is born from the acquisition of the Fonte del Monte concession. Ferrarelle also announced a graphic restyling of its professional range and a rebranding of MAXIMA, with product presentations at Pavilion C3, Stand 080.

MaGiKa debutta a Beer&Food Attraction con il suo botanical cordial naturale

🍺 MaGiKa Srl, founded by three entrepreneurs from the food&beverage sector, debuts in Italy at the Beer&Food Attraction fair in Rimini, featuring the Mixology Circus event. Co-founder Silvia Centanni highlights their botanical cordial, made entirely of natural ingredients without artificial additives, low in sugars, and non-alcoholic. The cordial, named MaGiKa li ki dō, uses a craft process at km 0 and is 100% natural and organic. The first three cordials include Edelflower, Basil, and Pomegranate, catering to various tastes with their low sugar, non-alcoholic, plant-based composition. Internationally known bartender and co-founder Gegam Kazaris emphasizes the importance of natural quality in mixology. MaGiKa will be showcased at Pavilion C2, stand 045, during Beer&Food Attraction 2025.

Mikado presenta la Mikado Kiss Edition per San Valentino

💋 Mikado, part of Mondelēz International, launched an exclusive Valentine's Day Limited Edition and the Mikado Kiss Cam at the Frecciarossa Final Eight 2025 in Torino's Inalpi Arena until February 16. Illustrator ilbaffogram designed the new packaging and related communications. The campaign involves on-field activations, influencer partnerships, a digital campaign with three animated stories, and a dedicated TV spot. The Mikado Kiss Edition bipack offers three design variants and includes two 75g Mikado Milk packs and a special photo frame gift. ZooCom Next Gen managed the project.

Nel 2024 l'export di vino italiano supera le difficoltà globali

🍷 Following a global downturn in wine consumption post-pandemic in 2023, 2024 continued the negative trend, particularly in international trade. Among the top 12 wine-importing markets, accounting for over 60% of global imports, only the United States, Canada, China, and Brazil posted positive changes. Italian wine outperformed, with sparkling wines in these markets seeing a +4.8% value increase, versus an aggregate average of -5.1%. The U.S. recorded an +11% increase, Australia +10%, and Canada +9%. During the XI Forum Wine Monitor, it was noted that Chinese wine imports rebounded by 38% due to the return of Australian wines after a ban in 2021. Australian wine exports grew by 30% in 2024, while French wine exports dropped another 2.4%. On the domestic front, Modern Distribution in Italy saw a nearly -2% decrease in wine sales in hypermarkets and supermarkets, with red wines down -4.6% and sparkling wines -7.4%. Italian wine exports grew in Eastern Europe and Latin America, with notable increases in Poland (+26%), Czech Republic (+47%), Romania (+22%), Mexico (+3%), and Ecuador (+56%).

Stella Artois Draught Masters Italia: la finale per la prima volta a Beer&Food Attraction

🍺 Stella Artois Draught Masters Italia finale to be held on February 17, 2025, during Beer&Food Attraction at Fiera di Rimini (February 16-18). Eight expert beer pourers will compete in two three-minute draught tests, pouring three 40 cl glasses and, for the top two finalists, three 20 cl glasses. Semifinals involved 80 professionals, starting in May with contests in four Italian areas, concluding in September and October. Judges include Tom Robberechts, Allaine Schaiko, and XiaoXiao Yang.
