Raboucer allarga la sua proposta con la nuova Gastronomia

🍻 Andrea Pirola and Simone Di Gioia initiated their entrepreneurial journey in 2019 by acquiring Bar Cuore in Milan and transforming it into Raboucer. They endured the Covid phase successfully, expanded in 2022 with historic venue Tasca, and further with “La Gastronomia,” creating a culinary district. "La Gastronomia" caters to Raboucer and Tasca, offering quality Mediterranean cuisine, takeaway, and delivery services with a weekly changing menu. Raboucer is known for its signature cocktails, recently themed "Cocktails & Cinema," and apart from a new drink list, they've added a private event-friendly internal room and enhanced food offerings with double-fermented focaccias and attractive deals like €10 Sunday aperitivo.

Consorzio Nazionale Grappa: Sebastiano Caffo confermato presidente

🍷 Sebastiano Caffo was re-elected as president of the Consorzio Nazionale Grappa on March 10, joined by Vice President Elvio Bonollo and a board of members from various distilleries. Their goal is to secure official recognition from the MASAF, representing over 75% of national grappa production—well above the 66% needed. The Consorzio, symbolized by a logo of three grappa drops forming the Italian tricolor, aims to protect and valorize grappa over the next three years, strengthening its brand internationally.

🚫 The new Italian Road Code effective from December 14, 2024, has led to CGA by NIQ's study on its impact on Horeca sector consumption. The survey found 46% plan to change their habits, with Millennials at 49% and 55% in Milan residents. A 44% reduction in bar and restaurant attendance is expected, particularly among Gen Z and in big cities such as Rome and Milan. Gen Z is also driving a 37% shift towards non-alcoholic alternatives, and an increased interest in low/no alcohol options is noted among Gen Z and Millennials. The sector must adapt to changing consumer behaviors for continued success.

Boom del salmone norvegese in Italia: consumi raddoppiati in 10 anni

🍣 Italy is the third-largest market for Norwegian salmon, with nearly 10% of Norway's production consumed there. In the last decade, Italian consumption of salmon has more than doubled. In 2024, Italy imported over 6 billion NOK (approx. 550 million euros) worth of Norwegian salmon, one of the highest figures in recent years. Italians consumed nearly 140,000 tonnes of Norwegian salmon last year. About 1,000 poke restaurants are currently in Italy, with expectations to reach about 2,000. Tom-Jørgen Gangsø, Director of the Norwegian Seafood Council in Italy, notes a high number of sushi and poke restaurants, with salmon dishes being highly requested. Nearly 80% of Italians deem fish origin labeling important, and 70% consider sustainability a key factor in purchasing decisions. The Norwegian Seafood Council is a part of Norway's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries.

TheFork Insights: promozioni e qualità guidano le prenotazioni nel 2024

🍕 TheFork generated €2.1 billion economic impact for 55,000 European restaurant partners. In Italy, TheFork brought 23 million consumers to restaurants, contributing €690 million in revenue and €73 million in savings to diners. Top cities for bookings in 2024 were Rome, Milan, Florence, Turin, and Naples, with Turin and Naples seeing the most significant growth. Consumer behavior showed a preference for dinner reservations (75%), Italian cuisine (31%), and spending €25-€50 per person (64%). Around 80% of bookings were made via the app. INSIDER restaurants constituted 25% of the platform's offerings and accounted for 30% of total bookings. The top 10 restaurant chains on TheFork showed substantial booking increases in 2024, led by brands like FraDiavolo and ROSSOPOMODORO.
