🏦 The historic Hotel Astoria in Sanremo, closed for over 20 years, was acquired by the Italo-Monegasque group Marzocco for about €6.7 million. Owned by Intrum Italy, a subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo, the hotel will undergo major renovations with an investment of several tens of millions of euros. The 1882-established hotel, originally "Hotel West-End," boasted approximately 220 rooms over seven floors, spanning 8,300 sqm. No specific timeline for the renovations has been confirmed by Luca Marzocco.
