Jfc: i benefici economici del Festival di Sanremo pari a 185milioni di euro

🎶 Over 6,750 tourists will visit Sanremo during the Festival starting on February 11, resulting in 34,646 total stays with an average duration of 5.1 nights. The Festival of Sanremo 2025 is projected to generate an economic impact of €184.1 million, with direct benefits estimated at €20 million, indirect benefits at €10 million, and induced benefits at nearly €7.8 million. Accommodation choices include 64.7% opting for hotels and 35.3% for non-hotel lodgings. Additional long-term benefits include €7.5 million for supply chain legacy, €43.5 million for brand enhancement, and €95.5 million for media ADV value. The local economy of Sanremo will receive 90.6% of the economic benefits, with 9.4% going to neighboring areas.

The European Commission promotes the Deploytour, which ensures secure data flow, enhancing technology development. eDreams: sono francesi e statunitensi i viaggiatori che scelgono di più Roma come destinazione

📅 In Europe, eDreams notes that the United States and France lead with each accounting for 13% of total searches toward Rome. A significant increase in searches from Bosnia and Herzegovina (435%), Slovakia (279%), and Taiwan (156%) highlights the global appeal of Rome's Jubilee. Italian searches rose by 24% compared to last year. Monthly data shows a 30% increase in January travel searches, with a year-end surge: +36% for November, +77% for December, and +80% for January 2026. Spaniards, known for their devout Catholicism, make up 33% of bookings, followed by France (21%) and Italy (12%). Portugal leads new nationalities with bookings up by 138%, UK by 81%, and Romania by 53%. Bookings in January rose by 25% over the same period in 2024, with a notable 36% increase in April, influenced by Easter. Booking habits: 41% book less than a month prior, 36% from 31 to 90 days before, and 23% plan over three months in advance. Travellers' stays: 55% visit Rome for 3/4 days, 13% stay 5/6 days, and 21% opt for 2-day trips.

Turismo, si conclude missione Santanchè in Arabia Saudita: “Importante aprirsi a nuovi mercati ricchi di potenzialità”

🏖️ Italian Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè concluded her mission to Saudi Arabia which began on January 27 with the inauguration of the Italian Village in Jeddah, marking the Amerigo Vespucci sailboat's first visit to Saudi Arabia in its 93-year history. In Riyadh, she met with Saudi counterpart Ahmed Al Khateeb, and in Jeddah, she participated in events focusing on inclusion and promoting Italian tourism, including the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics 2026. In 2023, over 200,000 Saudi travelers visited Italy, with 78% for personal reasons and 22% for business. The initiative aims to enhance diplomatic relations and attract more Saudi tourists to Italy.
