🚢 CONFINDUSTRIA NAUTICA, following its Council meeting on February 8 in Genoa, praised the "Libro Verde" proposed by Minister Adolfo Urso aimed at a shared industrial strategy. The Italian nautical industry achieved a historic export record of €4.4 billion in 2024, maintaining Italy's position as the world's leading exporter. Government policies, including the "Piano del Mare" by Minister Nello Musumeci, support the sector, addressing market slowdowns and promoting competitiveness. Reforms for deregulation and simplification for boaters are underway, complementing infrastructural and health department decrees for simplified professional titles and new licenses. A technical roundtable discussed sediment removal at tourist harbors, while an MP proposed a bill to advance port reform. President Saverio Cecchi highlighted the Association's commitment to nautical industry development, enhanced by prestigious companies like Brunswick Marine and Volvo joining its ranks.
