Sita Ricerca: si preferiscono gli hotel a 4 e 5 stelle ai B&B

  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 31 Marzo 2025
🏠 Travelers with a family income over €75,000, aged 18-65, are altering accommodation preferences, favoring high-end facilities, with 3-star hotels losing ground and bed & breakfasts giving way to 4 and 5-star accommodations due to uneven quality levels. Italy remains the top destination with a preference for coastal areas, and 25% of the sample favor itinerary travel. There's a 40% shift in accommodation choices compared to 2-3 years back for enhanced comfort, budget changes, or different needs. Bed & breakfasts have halted evolution since 2022, with a 3% decrease in registered facilities totaling 33,400. Affluent clients (44%) tend to self-organize on platforms like Booking.com, yet 50% of them reserve directly or communicate with the property after visiting OTA sites. In dissatisfaction, 60% experienced it mainly with 3-star hotels, B&Bs, and vacation homes due to inconsistent service, while vacation villages maintain high standardization. Luxury clients expect mobility services, beauty centers, and information points within 5-star facilities, areas where Italy could improve.

  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 31 Marzo 2025

Arival's survey of 800 U.S. travelers, part of a larger study on 2,400 travelers in Europe and the U.S., reveals that 65% consider experiences significant in choosing a destination. Younger travelers (18-54) prioritize available experiences, food, and activities, with a growing interest in culinary and local experiences, thematic tours, wellness, festivals, and sports events.

Esami per il titolo professionale di ufficiale di navigazione di 2a classe, il Ministero delle infrastrutture e dei trasporti risponde positivamente ai quesiti di Confindustria Nautica

  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 27 Marzo 2025
🛢 Confindustria Nautica addressed questions to Italy's maritime transport authorities regarding exams for the 2nd class recreational navigation officer title. After the decree n. 40 issued on March 14, 2025, conflicting responses emerged from maritime offices. The simplified recreational title, introduced by decree n. 227 on December 13, 2023, is now urgent for the 2,000 needed positions in the sector. Practical exams require a vessel over 15 meters, with a 5-hour school-certified familiarization as equivalent experience. Clarifications were provided by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, with no formal certification needed for the 5-hour familiarization - a declaration from the nautical school suffices.
